Schedule
6:00 – 7:30 Silent study hall
7:15 – 7:30 Virtue talk
7:30 – 8:00 Dinner
8:00 – 9:00 Seminar
Cost
Freshman Seminar: $375
Sophomore Seminar: $375
Junior & Senior Seminars: $300
Need-based scholarships are available for qualified students; please inquire if interested.
Dinner
Dinner is provided at each seminar and is covered by the overall seminar fee.
Study hall
Each seminar has a required 75 minute silent study hall, which is monitored by a Tenley staff member.
Location
All seminars are held at Tenley Study Center. For directions please call or click on the link "Contact us" at the top of the page.
Transportation
The Center is a few blocks away from the Friendship Heights Metro station on the red line. Students may receive a ride from the Heights School in the Tenley van; it leaves the school at 5:30 pm on seminar days. Parents provide the rides home for their sons; carpools can be arranged for this purpose. The Center is a few blocks away from the Friendship Heights Metro station on the red line.
Dress code
All students attending a High School Seminar are asked to wear collared shirts and long pants. No t-shirts, jeans, shorts, or sandals please.
